The Ravello Festival is also popularly known as the “Wagner Festival” and is an annual summer music and art music festival in the beautiful and enchanted land of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast.

The 2018 66th edition of the festival will be from June, 30th to August 25th 2018. The event’s rich program is full of unmissable appointments.

The Ravello Film Festival is dedicated to Richard Wagner, the german composer who visited and loved this spellbinding place of the Amalfi Coast.

The german composer, Wagner had been so emotional taken with the natural beauty of the romantic Villa Rufolo that decided to proclame, in reference to a character in his important own opera “Parsifal”: “Here is the enchanted garden of Klingsor.”

The although original emphasis during the festival was focused on Wagner’s music. In the years, as the event has grown into an almost two-month-long presentation, had been added a wide variety of classic musics featuring large orchestras, dance, jazz, art shows, photographic exhibitions and a chance to meet and talk with the featured artists belonging to World Music scene.
